What type of products are sold on Stein-Man.de?
Stein-Man offers both New beer steins from Hoehr-Grenzhausen, Germany and a collection of old, antique, and collectible beer steins. All beer steins are presented in different categories, each categorie contains the best quality available in German made beer steins. The Commision Items categorie contains various old, antique, and collectible German beer steins.

How many steins can ordered in Stein-Man webshop?
In general new customer orders can only be processed up to a total of 600.00 EUR.
Stein-man offers discount accounts and can process larger orders, in this case, please mail willis@stein-man.de for more details.

Do I have to pay EURO V.A.T.?
Stein-Man Beer Stein webshop automatically calculates if you are subject to the payment of EURO V.A.T. by using details of your your home country. This means that EU customers will have the 19% EURO V.A.T. added to their shopping cart upon checkout.
All non EU Customers are not subject to EURO V.A.T. and it will not be charged during the sales process.

National Import duties, taxes and charges?
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. Stein-Man does not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.

Are the steins sold on Stein-man in stock?
Stein-Man is proud to present the newest selections from various stein makers in Hoehr-Grenzhausen Germany and is not a beer stein stockist but primary a beer stein paintshop, Stein-Man is able to access the stein makers stocks and also paints the beer steins and custom beer steins. Because of this unique neighbourhood relationship Stein-Man can supply all of the beer steins that are currently being produced in the famous beer stein production area of Hoehr-Grenzhausen.
Please note:  All new items ordered are dependent on the stock and/or turnout of the different stoneware companies, this means there could be a production time of up to 4 weeks before the item(s) are shipped.

What is the inportance of "Hoehr-Grenzhausen" in relationship to beer steins?
The most famous and enduring area of stein manufacturing in Germany is the land along the River Rhine known as "Kannenbäckerland" or "Pitcher Bakers Land". This small area around Koblenz, Ransbach-Baumbach, Höhr-Grenzhausen and Hillscheid is famous since Roman times for its clean white clay resources, and is still to the present day the all time champion of German Beer Stein production.

How will my purchase be shipped?
Standard shipping is the DHL German post, (Please note that the German DHL is not the US DHL which is a drop shipper, your steins will arrive with your national post).
Stein-Man ships outside of Europe  only per DHL Premium Express. (DHL example quote: Germany - USA in 6-8 Workdays).
