King "St. Florian" 3 Liter Beer Stein, olive stonegrey glaze, handpainted, solid pewter lid with St. Florian figurine.
Sankt Florian was a Roman official who died for the Christian faith. He is the German fireman Patron and in his name firefighters in Germany are often called "Florianijünger" (Florian disciples). His name is also used for the standard fire brigade radio call "Florian" in combination with the individual vehicle ID. In many places in Germany it is customary to hold in his memorial a "Florianimesse" (Florian Mass) in which the firefighters attend in their dress uniforms.
