King Limitaet 2011 Beer Stein, 2 liter, massive pewter facon lid, this extraordinary Limited Edition Stein is based on an historic original currently in the archives of King-Werk Germany. Sculptured by Peter Duemler around the year 1885, this magnificent stein features the famous German King and emporer of the holy roman empire Frederick I Barbarossa (Read Beard) who lived from 1122 to 1190 A.D. Frederick I Barbarossa descended from the two most powerful families in Germany at that time. Fredrick united Germany which consisted of 1600 individual Kingdoms each with it's own prince. Until today some German towns like Kaiserslautern are called town of Barbarossa as he lived there and errected a castle. The finely detailed scenes are handsculptured in a dramatic raised relief. This is the twelfth in King Limitaet series of Limited edition steins and has a strict limitation of only 2,500 bodies worldwide, optional wooden presentation box available (see below).
