Netherlands Memorial Beer Stein
Netherlands Memorial Beer Stein
The Netherlands used to be one of the most popular consumers and trading partners of Westerwald salt glazed style stoneware. There is proof that during the 18th century Westerwald stoneware belonged to one of the top selling stoneware items in Amsterdam and Rotterdam and it was cherished for its durability and its reasonable pricing. Because of the good interconnecting trade routes via the large rivers like the River Rhein, vast amounts of Westerwald stoneware where exported abroad from Holland and thereby enabled the worldwide availability of this unique German stoneware.

Stein-Man beer steins is proud to present, with this background in mind, a 200 piece limited edition "Bierpul" in a classical Westerwald design that features the 2013 Netherlands crowning event of their new King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima.
Included is also the abdication of the former Queen Beatrix after being the sovereign of the Netherlands for the past 33 years.

This hand-made traditional grey 0,5 liter stein has a massive domed pewter lid attached to highlight its traditional form.
