	Beginning in the year 2000, the German stein manufacturer King Werke have been producing for each year one of these rare limited edition beer steins. Each of these unique collectors pieces are modelled after authentic historical Marzi & Remy mother molds from the archives of King-Werke in Hoehr-Grenzhausen. Two classical designs are available, the handpainted version or the very popular old style version. High grade facon pewter lids are used for the special lid attachments The King Limitaet beer steins are issued as annual limited Editions with 2500 pieces worldwide and are individually hand numbered. Each stein is shipped with a certificate of authenticity and a printed detail of the personality or story featured on the stein. 	King Limitaet 2011 Beer Stein, 2 liter, massive pewter facon lid, this extraordinary Limited Edition Stein is based on an historic original currently in the archives of King-Werk Germany. Sculptured by Peter Duemler around the year 1885, this magnificent stein features the famous German King and emporer of the holy roman empire Frederick I Barbarossa (Read Beard) who lived from 1122 to 1190 A.D. Frederick I Barbarossa descended from the two most powerful families in Germany at that time. Fredrick united Germany which consisted of 1600 individual Kingdoms each with it's own prince. Until today some German towns like Kaiserslautern are called town of Barbarossa as he lived there and errected a castle. The finely detailed scenes are handsculptured in a dramatic raised relief. This is the twelfth in King Limitaet series of Limited edition steins and has a strict limitation of only 2,500 bodies worldwide, optional wooden presentation box available (see below).

Sculptured by a Westerwald stein designer (possibily Peter Duemler) around the year 1890, this magnificent stein features the famous scene "Siegfried's Return" taken from the German legend of the Nibelungen. This legend based on historic events in the 5th and 6th century AD tells of the dragon slayer Siegfried. The stein shows his return from Iceland, handing over the Bridal Cup to Kriemhild. The scene is supervised by King Gunther of Burgundy, who promised Siegfried his sister Kriemhild as wife, if he aids to win Brunhild, princess of Iceland for himself. The finely detailed scenes are handsculptured in a dramatic raised relief. This is the eleventh in King Limitaet series of Limited edition steins and has a strict limitation of only 2,500 bodies worldwide, shipped with certificate, massive pewter facon lid..
